  1. Had a wonderful winter ride in the snow. Sher Khan was a little surprised to be going out in the snow, but like everything else he does, he was perfect! Now to figure out how to uplad my ride! :)

  2. Oh, I rode 1.2 miles according to my son's smartphone app. Forgot in my excitement over the 1st post.

  3. Had a cold but beautiful ride this morning in the snow flurries and hoar frost. We ended up going a little farther than I meant to just from watching the beauty all around us. Made 2.34 miles according to smart phone app. Supposed to be a little warmer tomorrow after am flurries. As soon as the ice melts I am going to try to get my son to ride with us. Have to get in as much riding as I can before law school starts on the 13th. Then finding time to ride during the week will be a challenge.

  4. Convinced my son to accompany me on my ride today. Unfortunately, the pretty snow turned to a cold, wet snow while we were riding. Thankfully he was a trooper and we enjoyed our ride. He had never gone riding with me out on the trails, he always rode in an arena. I think I am making progress in convincing him to join me in this endeavor. I had a great time despite the weather and the best part was riding with William. Oh and we did the 1.3 mile loop. It was a little farther today due to taking a detour to avoid some ice on the road. :)

  5. My pony decided that he is no old geezer today and gave me a fast eighth mile before I pulled up. Really boosted our average speed for the 3.39 mile ride. Cold with blue skies and a light wind. He did great considering we were in about 10"of lightly packed snow. Felt young again there for a minute. God, I love that horse and I pray he has many more years ahead of him.

  7. Just a couple of rides this week as school started. The decimal point was not working when I reported my miles so I rounded down to 1 mile and 3 miles. The weather seems decent today, so after studying, I will RIDE! :)
