I rode in the judged trail ride. Had tons of fun and will definitely be doing more!!
ReplyDeleteWHAM judged trail ride. May 16, 2015. Hamilton, MI Silver Creek Campground. Team #14 J Squared. Great fun. Trail ride with 10 obstacles along the way. Fairly judged with the same judge all day. Planning to get involved so that this event continues!

ReplyDeleteOn 1-4-2016 Took a midnight snowy ride in the pasture with my January Jammies' on. Although covered with many layers, I was able to snap a few good pictures astride. Oh what fun :)

For the first time ever, I rode in my pajamas. The outfit was a snazzy camouflage shirt and brightly colored lounge panta with a dragonfly print. Cadiz kept touching the pants when we were done.
Did my pic in my pink polka dots on the Kenai Beach. (Actually you can sometimes find me putting my snow suit over jammies for winter riding). :)
ReplyDeleteGot in a Short ride around the corn field today. I wore my halloween jammies because they are the only ones that will fit over other pants. Stormy did fantastic as we left all others behind. We saw uncountable amount of squirrels, around 40 turkeys, 5 deer, and was circled for a while by a red tail hawk. All in all a beautiful Michigan winter ride.

Went riding today, it was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time. Taffy lied down on Lilly and she wound up with a minor sprain, but other than that she's a tough girl and finished the ride. :D

Team GM Ranch one and GM Ranch two April 7 and 8th trailer loading. Equine Affair Ohio in Columbus Ohio. Horses traveled four hours there and four hours back.

ReplyDeleteApril Easy loading- 04/09/16-04/10/16 Taylor Farms Dueces Wild. We successfully loaded into the trailer both times (to & from clinic). Best loading for her in awhile, no hesitation.
ReplyDeleteApril easy loading 4/21/2016: we trailer a lot and mostly take all four horses. They were always pretty good. Since in January I only took two at a time while hubby was gone and to ale my mare alone to lessons, they got worse. Now we added a new routine of not only offering hay but also alfalfa, they got much better again. Loading today was a charm!
ReplyDeleteForgot about my April Easy Loading - 4/2/2016. A friend picked up Team 181 (Team Kiche) and trailered us to a local regional park to ride for a few hours. Kiche hopped right in (despite never having seen the other two horses before OR the trailer) and we got on our way!
