Hello all, my name is Noel horsesam from SW MI (Three Rivers/Constantine area). My main mount is a 20 year old Polish Arabian gelding named Boo and second mount is my 3 year old Appaloossa filly Dice. I ave been involved with horses since a really young age. My start was working on a Haflinger breeding farm. There I learned to ride, handlle foals, and started playing a lot of cowboy and Indians (I was the Indian of course). I also learned to harness and drive. As I got older I got a reputation in my area for riding "difficult" horses and training 3 year olds. I have started several young horses. I joined the Distance Derby to help motivate me back into riding after losing my first horse. This year my goal is to meet or surpass my miles from last year, 1500 miles would be great. This year I am hoping to try Distance Riding for the first time and judged trail rides. I dabble into a lot of events (mostly all western) because I love to learn anything I can about different disciplines available to me. My filly is going to be my first cow horse and I'm super excited for her to get on her first cow. Boo loves trails and distance so he will be competing in those areas. I have competed in western pleasure, showmanship, english pleasure, and various speed events. I cannot wait to meet new people and hopefully find new riding companions.
