TEAM 104 - QUANTUM CHROME (MICHIGAN)

    Team 104 here! I'm Amy and I ride Gwyn! She's a Friesian sporthorse, crossed with appaloosa and percheron on her momma's side. I'm a stay at home Mom and I have lived all over the country and Gwyn has followed! I met her as a long yearling in Florida where I fell in love, spots and all. I moved to Washington State, following a new job for my husband and I purchased Gwyn and shipped her up to me a few months later. We've since moved to Michigan (again for the husband's job)and once again, Gwyn followed behind!

    I'm enjoying being a part of the distance derby because it motivates me to get out and ride and push the mileage when I might not have gone as far or as long. I may not be top of the leaderboards, but I'm a slow and steady climber!

    I also have a little girl who absolutely adores Gwyn (and the feeling is mutual, I suspect) and she'll sometimes ask to ride too. Maybe in a few years she'll be her own team!
