April came to me through a rescue organization in MN. She was part of a herd seized from their owners, after several horses died on the property from starvation. April has spent the last three years recuperating from malnourishment, mistreatment, and some terrible chiropractic issues. This spring I'll be restarting her under saddle, in the hopes of finally being able to say "I rode MY horse!" I love her to the moon and back, even when she bucks me just as far. Fingers crossed we get some good miles in, IN the saddle ;)
WOOOOO! First miles! 5/20 2.68 mile trail ride. April loooooves trail riding, but seems to dislike most anything else. Hopefully she rethinks that outlook ;)
