Weather has improved and we are starting to get out to ride more often. If the snow doesn't get too deep or icy we should have some good rides. Breaking out a few more trails to add to our distance. Thanks Great Distance Derby for giving me another excuse to ride!! Kuchta Trail Plus on 1/21/16 3.4 miles.
Shaken up, literally, by Saturday night's 7.1 earthquake! Scariest I've dealt with since 1964. Drawers and shelves spewed their contents over the floor, every picture in the house was hanging sideways, and broken glass from knickknacks all over the floor. Needless to say, we did not ride yesterday as we spent our time cleaning up and earthquake-proofing our home. Today, however, we had a great ride on the Outback Trail. Broke open yet another route 3.56 miles altogether. As we were finishing the rain began. Yes, in Alaska!!! The world has turned upside down.
First ride on the one hour loop of the Putback Trails. Great time 3.68 miles of ice and snow. Bent a shoe. Thanks to Ron the amazing farrier, we are back on the road again
